Yes, this weekend we get to celebrate two of my SIL's birthday's...  So here's two cards that I made for both of them... My first card is using the stamp from SOG(someodd girl) Gifty Gwen, and she was all inked up with copic markers, spellbinder's rectangular, sentiment from Stampendous,, baker's twine, button ,gems and paper from a dear BF.
My second card is from TGF (Hula Anya) and she was inked up with copic and MS markers, raffia, sentiment from Hero Arts, spellbinder's ovals, and paper from my dear BF.

And my last project is several invitations that I made for a Thanksgiving luncheon that we are having over at our house this year... Because both sides of the families are big it was our turn to host the luncheon... So here 's a couple of invitations that are for our friends that we are inviting.  I just needed to get this out of the way because my to do pile is been increasing with so many unfinished projects....

Sweet Dreams!

Well it's start of the new week and the ending of September, aren't the day's moving by too fast!
I've got two cards to share, my first card was for a sweet friend whose daughter had a baby so I needed to get a card done quickly since I decided last minute to visit them on Sunday... Both images are from the Create a Critter cartridge which is my fav... The cricut is one machine that you can get a card done in two shakes since their is no coloring involved..... So here they are cute and simple: 1- ( Sweet Dreams) 2- ( Gobble Gobble).

Just added a ribbon, & buttons, paper from scrap

Oops on the turkey hat, my dear hubby grabbed it when the glue didn't settle, added
buttons, and paper from scrap.

Well back to more unfinished projects...
Thanks for taking a peek!
Many hugs to you all~

A Desk set for Naya!

Here's a desk set that I made for my GD whose birthday is coming up soon and she asked for a student desk for her bedroom... So of course along with the desk we need to put some accessories on it.  So I decided to make her some little goodies to put on the desk top.... So here's what I came up for Shanaya and her nickname is Naya!
I've also used some recycled items here which I think she's going to love.... And if you notice I tried to coordinate the papers with everything I made, I even colored Ice Cream Birgitta with the same colors too.  She was inked up with copic markers, spellbinder round and ovals, papers from American Crafts, jumbo clothes pin so she can clip her picture or notes, jumbo paper clips with using EK punch and paper flowers with gems, ribbon, note book & pen from recycle Sierra Pacific Crafts, stickles and birthday sentiment from IS(Island Scrapbooking) and naya's desk sentiment is computer generated and on a recycled Hormel Spam can.....
Wow, at least here's one project I got completed that was sitting in my to do pile to be completed.
Hope you are all enjoying your crafty weekend...
Thanks for peeking in!

Happy Thoughts!

I miss posting on Monday, had my computer moved over to another area in my craft room.. So now I'm okay to get back on and do catch up with commenting and other businesses.  So my first card is my title, added ribbon, use dimensional from Little Yellow Bicycle, sentiment from Hero Arts and papers from my scraps...
Second card is from  Stampendous - stamp set (Orchid Greetings), inked with copic and MS markers, pearls, ribbon and scraps.

My last card is a simple Sympathy card that my DD asked me to do for her, the sentiment is also from Stampendous, pearls, and scraps.

And my last surprise which I had no idea, my hubby bought me my upgraded cell phone that we were looking at this past Sunday while we were at the mall... We were just window shopping and he said no we are not going to get this now maybe later.... I do have a cell phone but I can barely see the number's on them.... so I hinted that I needed something bigger and more updated.....but the deal with this phone was also to get my craft room cleaned up..... So I'm in the process of over hauling my room since yesterday... Oh BTW - he hid the phone so when I got up this morning it was on the corner of my side of the nightstand....  I still need to go to the site and watch the tutorial on this phone, it is totally confusing for me...

So I'm off to cleaning and re-arranging....
Thanks for taking a peek!
Many hugs to you all~

Make a Child Smile for Christmas & Some Halloween Popcorn Boxes!

Hello everyone, I have several cards that I'm helping out for my blogging friend Kris click here for all the deets.  These are simple basic cards just to make a child smile for Christmas... When it comes to any holiday it means alot to me, if I can help out I will be their to participate for any child that needs just that little love or attention.   Kris has several rules to follow with making these cards so please read carefully if you would like to participate.
My next project are some popcorn boxes I made for Halloween.. Of course I don't have any candies yet to put in and make them look all pretty... But I just wanted to show  them to you  since I still had my cricut out.  I decided to you use my Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cartridge and did my popcorn boxes from that... And for your info I was told by many that  Cricut will no longer be selling this cartridge so it is a hot seller out their who ever has them for sale..  Their are so many awesome projects on this cartridge I'm glad I have it... Back then I got this only for $15.00 brand new from a garage sale that this poor old women hoarded and was moving back to Florida.  I was alittle too late when I found out she had a moving sale, she had things she told me she bought and never used it... and when I got this cartridge this and Doodle Charms were all that was left from the cricut  supplies.
Anywho here are my boxes:
Well it's time for me to get back to my unfinished projects, I got back into that mold again about starting on one project and then jumping onto something else, so forth and so forth... So right now I got projects scattered in different directions on my table that I need to focus what I'm going to really finish up first.
So until then - hope I can get something posted soon.
Thanks for taking a peek!
Many hugs to you all!

It's a blast!

I have several cards that I worked on since 3:00 am this morning, I know some might think I'm crazy, where the heck I get all my energy from... I guess I'm used to getting up super early and as long as my dear hubby is okay with that I see no reason not to be in my 2nd  best room of the house ( my craft room, he,he).
Anyhoo, my first card is a digi one of those that has been sitting in my file container for such a long time.. His been inked up wih copic and MS markers, and the best part my sewing on the edges of my three cards...
Yes, my sewing!  I've been procrastinating for such a long time, and everytime I see so many of you sewing on your cards... I said it's time to bust out my sewing machine and get it going again.....LOL.. Just so you all know I once was an active sewer, I started many moons ago from my  intermediate school years .  It was my passion just sewing, sewing , sewing.... I even used to work at  Singer Sewing  on the BIsland until they got bought out by Discount Fabric Store.... Ok, enough of me babbling on...  Back to my cards~
Continue on my first card, I also added brads and I clear embossed the sentiment and that came from Oriental trading.
My second card is from C.C. Designs (Cupcake Kiki) she's been inked up with copic and MS markers, sewing on the edges, gems, brad, sentiment from Hero Arts, scraps, stickles, liquid pearls.
My last card is C.C. Designs, Sugarplums ( Spring Emma) she also has been inked up with copic and MS markers, gems, sewing on the card, sentiment from Studio G and scraps.

Well, it's time for me to clean up and my dear hubby wants me to make him a scrumptious cake (yummy) if you are interested in the recipe email me and I can give it to you...
Thanks for peeping in!
Hugs to all of you!

Hey there Sunshine!

Thank you everyone for leaving me such sweetie comments for the posting on the invites I did.   Wow, I still have flash backs on that mass production I did... That was my first biggest attempt doing that solo... I'm off to deliver them this morning...
Anyhoo - yes, I was up early this morning at 3:00 am, had to get my hubby's lunch pack ready for him.. He started work 4:00 am this morning... His a truck driver so you know how that goes... So I 've been up since, cleaning up all my mess and decided to get at least two cards done...
So my first card  is  from the stamp set TGF - Miss Anya Hats Off!  Inked her up with some copic and MS marker's, sentiment and  sun stamp from Studio G, oval scallop spellbinder's, gems, and scraps..
My second card I made this for my GF ( Lizzie) she loan me some double stick tape that I ran out with all that invites I did.  So I wanted to re-pay  her for the favor and I also baked her a 9 x 13 of her favorite cake (creamsicle cake).   And  her favorite color is orange, so that is why on her card I got oranges going on...
I used the stamp Swiss Miss (Rosalie with Roses), inked her up with copic and MS markers, sentiment from Hero Arts, Martha Stewart flower punch, ribbon, gems, stickles and scraps.
Well it's time to get ready and head into town to deliver all these goodies, and head over to pickup some craft supplies that I need to replenish.
So enjoy your day/evening....
And I will be back later!
Big hugs to you all~

And Here's Those Invites!

Whew, I'm finally done! DONE!.  It started with just 200 invites, then they up it to 250.  Can you believe it I did 250 of those invites.... Would I do something like this again, hum I think if I had some help yeah!  Wow, I started first thing this past  Saturday morning, cutting all those CS in half 5 1/2 by 8 then I had to cut the metallic gray CS 4 x 5 1/4 for the front... Okay so my cutterpede straight edge trimmer took a beaten, Wait, now it was running  copies of the truck image.  Someone drew the image so all I had to do was figure it out
and run the copies so when I punch it out it would be all centered.... So with calculations  and measurements I had to put 12 images per sheet... THEN~  now we are talking Saturday afternoon, I had to color each and everyone of those truck images yes, 250 of them.  It was Saturday night and  I only finished 40 of those coloring... Now its Sunday morning, I back in my craft room scratching my head and thinking gee I still have 210 more to color oh boy it's going to take me all Sunday... Yes, it took me all Sunday until 9:00 pm that night...  In between I had to take several breaks and pay some attention to my poor HB.
Now we are talking Monday, got up early again and started to punch 250 each on the round and then another 250 scallop for the back of it a total of 500 punches... Yes my right palm of my hand is bruised..., now mind you after all that was done, it was time to bust out my Big Shot and embossed the metallic grey CS with the Diamond Plate.. Oh my, I thought I would never reach the ending of that stack.  It's already Monday afternoon and I had to type up the sentiment, yikes another 250 then I had to cut and tape onto black CS...  Of course in between  all of  this going onI still had to do my chores and cook for my poor hubby...Now we are talking Monday evening, it's putting on the embossing CS and tacking it on the front of  the invites....Went to bed at 10:30 pm - I'm pooped....
Got up at 4:00 am this morning, needed to make my hubby 's  lunch pack for work, he had to be at work 5:00 am this morning..  Okay so after he was off to work, went back into my craft room and just went like a machine and started to put pop up dots on the front image and on the sentiments,it  took the better part of the morning up until exactly 3:00 pm I was finally all done, done done!  It is boxed up and ready to be delivered tomorrow.... Hooray!
So this is how it all started:
250 each of the Red and Gray!

I know I missed alot of everyone's recent postings, I will try to catch up with my comments to you later this evening... I hope I still have the energy to get something posted by tomorrow or so....I spent three whole days/nights working on this project and I just wanted to get it out of the way.... So please bare with me!
Thanks for stopping and peeping in...
Will be back later after I figure out what I will be creating for my card .
Hugs to you all  - I missed everyone......

Arigato from Miyono!

Here's another new stamp from Sister Stamp LLC, 2nd release , I have her in this recessed window card.  They are so easy and fun to do... So on to my card, Miyono wants to say arigato, I also had her paper pieced, added a little flower to her hair, added stickles to her kimono, flowers from Wild Orchid Craft, leaves  and sentiment from IS(Island Scrapbooking) papers from Garden Party Collection, also used copic and promarkers..
Now on to my two projects for September, I'm playing again in the Secret Sister Swap, and for this month the theme is using the color(s) Red, Brown or Orange.. So for my project I used all three colors.  And for my secret sister swap I did for her a checkbook cover and a tag.. I used the stamp Swiss Pixies (Laying Nora), had her paper pieced, used MS and copic markers, paper flowers, stickes, lace, Spellbinders Oval large Scallop, I also had her tag laminated so it wouldn't get ruined... I hope she enjoys it!  To get more deets on participating in this Secret Sister Swap, hop on over and check out Kris .  This is not a competition swap but a fun swap, I got to meet some amazing blogger's and I just love to meet new people and talk about crafting and exchanging... So come on give it a try, the more the merrier....

And for my last project I also played along in the C.A.T.S (card and tag swap) and for this month the theme was using Flowers on your card... So for my partner I did a Tri-S fold card and also a tag.  This one was a little tricky, I swapped heads, I used Swiss Pixies (Hawaiian Brigitta's head) and put it on Swiss Pixies (Welcome Brigitta's body).. How cool was this, huh!  I thought she look cutier this way because she already had the flower on her hair....I used Shinhan and copic markers, DP from scraps I tried to used what ever flowery idea to represent the theme....I embossed the Spellbinders Oval Scallop, the butterfly is a dimensional sticker, ribbon, buttons and twine and the sentiment from Studio G.  To get deets on this one hop on over to Joy and check it out.... This is also not a competition swap but a fun swap...

Well this sure was a long posting....
So I will be starting on my invites tomorrow, I will be cutting my card stock ( 200) of them.... Yikes... I will have it posted when I get them going.. so you can see what I'm doing on this project...
Well I want to wish all of you a safe  and enjoyable 3-day weekend....
Many hugs to you all!
